What do you love about working in the engineering and infrastructure industry?

I love seeing Australia’s infrastructure grow and remote areas becoming more accessible. There is so much potential to improve our infrastructure and I find it incredibly exciting to be a part of the movement.

What are you working on at the moment?

My greatest professional achievements were completing my 2.5 year dual apprenticeship as Management Assistant for Office Communication in Germany and completing my Diploma of Business here in Australia.

What has been your greatest professional achievement to date?

The most useful thing I’ve learned throughout my career is that there is always something new to learn and there is always a way to fix a problem - It just takes an open mind and a bit of creativity at times.

Tell us a little bit about your background - where are you from, family, hobbies, interesting facts etc?

I came to Australia in 2016 for a 3-month holiday and basically never left because I completely fell in love with the country. Being from cold and rainy Germany, the sunny Queensland weather was just too tempting to resist. I have since built a career for myself, continue studying while working and have adopted a rescue dog. ?
